Count down to New York

I am leaving on Thursday, March 4th for my trip to New York City. My birthday is March 6th and I am spending it with my son and daughter in law in New York City. We will jointly celebrate our birthdays. Nick's was on February 21st. I am going to take some of the ingredients for dinner in my suitcase. I am making homemade spaghetti sauce for my stuffed manicotti, salad, bread and a chocolate raspberry truffle pie. These are all of Nick's favorites. And I enjoy making them for him and his wife, Tania.

I have an article, provided by my friend, Jeanette of fabric shops in the city. I managed to find two fabric shops and a bead shop last year on my trip. We shall see what happens this year. We are going to see a musical again this year. Last year it was South Pacific. No clue what we are seeing this time.

In stitches,

Judy

Just reading the name of that pie made my mouth water. Yum!

Hi Judy...love your profile that's visible on your homepage.....we don't have fabric addictions do we? I have heard there's a support group for us...fabricoholics anonymous...you have to stand at the front, say your name and admit you're addicted to fabric....but I wouldn't know, coz I don't have an addiction to fabric.....yeah right....lol Glad to see I'm not alone. Hugs Naomi

What you have planned sounds delicious. Are you going to share the chocolate raspberry truffle pie recipe with us fellow fabric addicts???? LOL

I believe quilting and chocolate go together. Nothing like a bit of chocolate to get one through at late afternoon slump.

Enjoy your trip.

Blessings,
Jilly
